University of Cincinnati | Kim Dryden
Survivor Journal and Resources
Welcome folx!
The Survivor Journal and Resources book is a project headed by the University of Cincinnati's Peers Helping Peers volunteer, Kim Dryden (pronouns: they/them) created by and for survivors of gender-based violence (GBV). In the Spring Semester of 2021, Kim used the UC Campus Advocate social media platform to reach out to survivors in our community to submit their artwork, journal pages, poetry, testimonials, and more with the goal of displaying their work alongside educational materials and resources for survivors and prospective members of the community. Kim is ecstatic to have received over 20 entries of community members' artwork, insights, and stories. The educational materials and resources that are displayed alongside survivor artwork were created by Kim and other like-minded UC students and are displayed on the social media @uc_whwcampusadv as well as in this journal.
Thank you infinitely to the survivors and UC students who made this project possible.
Be sure to head to the "Survivor Journal and Resources" tab to view the full book sequentially online, and if you are on campus, head to the Steger Student Life Center to view the printed copy, which will be available in the Women Helping Women Campus Office, LGBTQ+ Center, and Women's Center.
